Betsy (Rudolph) Boggess of Edgartown died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. She was 74.

She was predeceased by her husband, William L. Boggess Sr. in 2009. Betsy is survived by her children, William Jr., Rebecca, Luke, Fritz and Robert. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Edgartown with burial following in the New Westside Cemetery.
