Family and friends of the late Doris West Nevin of Chilmark will gather at 11 a.m. this Saturday to inter her ashes in the Edgartown new cemetery on 5th avenue. She was born on August 13, 1918 to Captain Ellsworth Luce West and Elsie Athearn West, and died peacefully on May 13, 2011.

She is survived by her sons, Channing Ellsworth Nevin and Bruce Edwin Nevin, and by her grandchildren, Ruby Kinman Henderson of Anacortes, Wash., Ariadne Antonia Mayhew Nevin of Salem, and Katrina Singsen Athearn Nevin of Edgartown.
