Dorothy L. (Stebbins) Anair died Dec. 28 surrounded by the love of family in Florida. She was 93.

Dorothy was born April 1, 1919 in Wales to the late Walter C. and Grace E. (Dickinson) Stebbins. Dot had been a long-time resident of Wales. She worked with her husband at their business, Starkey Artificial Limb Co. in Hartford, Conn. Upon their retirement they moved to the Vineyard and Dot worked as a bookkeeper at DeSorcy Contracting. Dorothy was a charter member of the Wales Senior Association and a member of the Wales Baptist Church. She loved making quilts for family members and enjoyed reading.

Mrs. Anair was predeceased by her husband Wilfred (Red) Anair Sr. in 2003 and her daughter Joy Levasseur in 2012. She leaves her children, Bill and Donna Anair of Wales, Bette and Hank Decoteau of Wales, and son in law Dick Levasseur of Carmel, Me.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 5 in the Wales Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Spring at Wales #4 Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
