Antone H. Rezendes Sr. of West Tisbury died on Thursday, April 18, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. He was 94.

A graveside service was held at the West Tisbury cemetery on April 22, officiated by the Rev. Michael Nagle, with military honors provided by the veterans of Martha’s Vineyard.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude (Amaral) Rezendes.
