Linda S. Regie (Greenwell) Swift of Oak Bluffs died on Thursday, May 30 at the Cape Cod Hospital. She was 64. She was the loving wife of Philip L. Swift.

Regie was born on November 30, 1948 in Louisville, Ky. to Leonard and Martha (Belle) Greenwell. Regie loved new places and traveled before she settled in Florida, where she met Phillip. They moved to Martha’s Vineyard and married in 1994. She worked at the Stop & Shop Pharmacy and at Jardin Mahoney. Regie loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She had prize-winning chickens and ducks that she entered in the annual agricultural fair. She liked fishing and out-fished the best of them. She also liked crafts and hiking with Phillip and their dog, Yogi. Her family always called her a free spirit.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her two children, Shawn Estes of Florida and Shelly Feltner of Michigan; two brothers, Mike Greenwell and Buddy Greenwell, both of Florida; four sisters, Marcy Dearth of Idiana, Janice Smith of Florida, Patricia Turner of Florida and Judy Stevenson of Indiana; and five grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held in the fall on date and time to be announced. Donations may be made to the Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1829, Edgartown, MA 02539.
