There will be a memorial service held for Laurel Chapman on Friday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury. Mrs. Chapmen died on Monday, Sept. 30.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to any of the following: the Memorial Gifts Fund of the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury (P.O. Box 3000, West Tisbury, MA 02575), the Martha’s Vineyard Museum (59 School Street, P.O. Box 1310, Edgartown MA 02539) or the Friends of the Vineyard Haven Public Library (200 Main Street, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568).
