Andrea Nichols Kieran of Waco, Tex., died on Oct. 25 after valiantly facing cancer. She was 61.

She was the wife of Mark Kieran and loving mother of eight children: Mark, Daniel, Jonathan, Ammiel, Simeon, Shaarah, Jesse and Ellie, and devoted grandmother of 21. She was the daughter of the late David and Dorothy Ritter of Vineyard Haven and sister of Kevan Nichols of Vineyard Haven, and special aunt to Kevan Nichols of Oak Bluffs, Jill Taney of Newport, Ky., and Melissa Mahoney of Aquinnah.

Andrea lived in Waco, but Pennacook avenue in Oak Bluffs always held a special place in her heart.

Funeral services were in Waco.
