Arthur J. Metell, 72

Arthur James Metell died on Feb. 9. He was 72.

Born on June 18, 1941, he is survived by his wife, Sylvia Pachico Metell; his children Kirk Metell (Kelley), Roxanne Klein (Ronald), Kenneth Dube (Michelle); 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Elaine Dias (Manuel) and Patricia Litchfield, his brother Kenneth Metell and his wife Linda, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Irene (Ferreira) Metell and a son, Alan Dube.

A private memorial service will be held in the spring for family.

My deepest sympathies go out to family and friends of Arthur. We grew up and graduated from MVRHS together. He was fun and always made me laugh. I, along with all his classmates, really liked him a lot. RIP Arthur.
