Helen C. (Locke) Dowd of Falmouth and formerly a longtime resident of Framingham, died peacefully on Jan. 31. She was 96.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Dowd and the late Joseph W. Bagley. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Pease) Locke of Salem. Helen is survived by her children Adrienne H. (Goodwin) Boardman and husband John of Oak Bluffs, and Paul Bagley of Northbridge. She was the sister to the late Charles Locke and his wife Elsie, and the late Dorothy Bachelder and her husband Howard. She was the grandmother of Aaron Goodwin and wife Brenda, and David Goodwin; great-grandmother of Paige Goodwin, Emma Goodwin, Myles Goodwin and Haylie Goodwin, and great-great-grandmother of Marlin Goodwin.
A private interment will be held Saturday, April 12, at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Salem.
