Eileen A. (Flynn) Andrews of Oak Bluffs died peacefully at home on May 28. She was 66.
Eileen was born in Schenectady, N.Y., to the late William and Helen (McDonnell) Flynn. Eileen lived on the Island for over 40 years, where she was beloved and admired by everyone who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed getting involved with new adventures at Woodside Village where she lived.
Eileen worked as a long-term care nurse for many years at various hospitals and retired from Windemere Nursing Home in Oak Bluffs.
Eileen is survived by three daughters: Katy (Rick) Mansfield, Sarah (Keith) Strelecki, and Lizzie Andrews; one brother William (Patti Caputo) Flynn; four grandchildren, Rylie and Lexi Mansfield, and Alyssa and Chandler Strelecki. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong Island friends.
