David Bryce Larson died on Sept. 30 of natural causes at his home on Martha’s Vineyard. He was 61.

David was the son of the late Oscar and Natalie Larson of Duxbury. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to many. His life’s profession was as a tennis instructor. He was especially gifted in teaching children the game he loved so much. Many of the kids he coached achieved competitive ranking. He taught in Duxbury, Kingston, Sagamore Beach and Martha’s Vineyard. David had a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor. In his deep-timbered voice he would entertain us all with his amazing recall of unusual facts and trivia.
