Virginia Louise Blakesley of West Tisbury died at Windermere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. She was 94.

A service is being planned for this summer with a date and details to be announced. A complete obituary will follow in a later edition of the Gazette. Arrangements are under the care of the Chapman, Cole & Gleason funeral Home, Oak Bluffs.

What a lovely, gracious, beautiful and talented lady! Visiting Virginia at Windemere was always a happy experience. Her blue eyes were riveting and her conversation always so interesting. My sincere sympathy to her son, Bill, and to all her family and friends.
