Nicholas (Nick) Bradshaw of Hyannis died unexpectedly on April 1. He was 57.

Born Jan. 9, 1958, Nick was a generous and thoughtful person who loved the ocean, fishing off a dock in the early morning, chasing blue crabs with zeal and riding his bike for thousands of miles each year. Prior to moving to Hyannis, Nick spent many years on Martha’s Vineyard, where he worked in a variety of painting and construction jobs. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Nick leaves a son, Nicholas Jr. of Hyannis, his mother Elizabeth Bradshaw of Lexington, a sister Kate and her husband Patrick Fallon of Lowell, his brother Jeremy and wife Annie Bradshaw of Chilmark, his brother Tim and wife Susan Bradshaw of Burlington, Vt., his brother Andrew of Plymouth, and his brother Hugh and wife Julian Bradshaw of Essex Junction, Vt. Nick is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father Hugh Bradshaw.

Private memorial services will be held at a future date. Arrangements are through Douglass Funeral home in Lexington.
