Dorothy Patchell Worth died Dec. 16, 2014, in the Houlton hospital. She was 90.

She was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Watertown, N.Y., daughter of Blake and Muriel Patchell.

Dorothy graduated from Wytopitlock High School and from Portland General Hospital with a degree in nursing. She was active in the Baptist church and was formerly a member of the Eastern Star Lodge. On the Vineyard, she lived at 46 Pease's Point Way in Edgartown. She was predeceased by her ex-husband Richard Worth, who was a partner at the Worth and Norton law firm on the Island.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Rich H. Worth, and his wife Katherine of Tennessee; a special aunt, Maxine Giberson; and several cousins.

Friends called at the Clay Funeral Home — Bartlett Chapel in Danforth — on Friday, Dec. 19.
