Mary Louise Vancour died on Monday, August 24 at her home in Edgartown surrounded by her family. She was 64.

She was the wife of Stephen A. Vancour and daughter of Frances (Prada) Resendes, both of Edgartown.

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs on Thursday, August 27 from 5 to 7 p.m.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, August 28 at 11 a.m. at the Federated Church on South Summer street in Edgartown with a reception following at the parish house. Feel free to wear purple to the service on Friday as it was Mary’s favorite color.
