Margaret Manzon Skinner died peacefully at her home in West Tisbury on Sept. 9, surrounded by her loving family. She was 71.
Margaret loved nothing more than spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and her dog. She cherished her friends. She was at her most joyful when working in her garden, reading, making needlepoint gifts for her family and kayaking on Sepiessa with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Reynolds – she was his sunshine; her son, Jonathan Skinner of Winnetka, Ill., his wife Karen and their three children, Hanna, Peter and Jack; and her daughter, Amanda Skinner of West Hartford, Conn. and her husband, Kalter Blauvelt. Margaret is also survived by her three brothers, Paul, Peter and Gil, and three sisters, Marianne, Nancy and Joanne, and their spouses, her many nieces and nephews, and her many dear, close friends.
“Oh how glad and happy when we meet, I’ll fly away”
