Memorial Service Saturday for Lorraine Cottle

Lorraine Cottle of West Tisbury and Cotuit died on Friday, Oct. 16 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 63. She was the wife of Edward C. Cottle Jr.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs, officiated by Rev. Amy Edwards. The family will begin receiving visitors at noon. Donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to Family to Family, PO Box 4685, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568.

Can't say enough good things about Lorraine...friends for too many years to count and always a thrill a minute....hard to figure out what was coming next. Lorraine found her real soul mate in Ed who was with her all the way. Rest in peace Lorraine....you will be missed. Love you, "Super Dave"

Our hearts are broken that we did not know of Lorraine's passing. "L" and I have been friends since the early 70's. She was a bridesmaid in our wedding. We are sorry that we did not get to say goodbye but we did not know. We will meet again. We think of you everyday. Love Norm and Pat
