Mary Ann Alwardt of Oak Bluffs died at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on Dec. 22. She was 77.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Monday, Dec. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine’s Church in Vineyard Haven.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Bluffs.

Family and friends will gather at the Portuguese American Club in Oak Bluffs following the services. Please bring a dish to share.
