Warren E. Fish died peacefully on Sunday, April 3 after a brief illness. He was 81.

Born in Bristol, R.I. on Nov. 5, 1934, he was the son of the late Leslie W. and Ruth (Harris) Fish. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris A. (Rogers) Fish.

Warren graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1953. After graduating from Northeastern University, he served in the United States Army as an officer and Second Lieutenant and then went on to have a long and successful career as a senior executive in the chemical industry. Warren was a Mason and a Shriner and a longtime member of the South Walpole United Methodist Church. He was a resident of South Lancaster since 2004, and formerly lived in Edgartown, Mashpee, and South Walpole.

He was the loving father of Alan E. Fish and his wife Julie (Catan) of Stow, Karen A. Currie and her husband William of Clinton, and Peter J. Fish of Leominster. He was the cherished grandfather of Andrew, Emily, Katelyn, Jack, and Eric and the devoted brother of the late Herman Fish, Harris Fish, Wilma (Fish) Britton and Franklin Fish. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral service at the South Walpole Methodist Church, 1886 Washington street in South Walpole, on Monday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Terrace Hill Cemetery.
