Dr. Michele Marie Lapeyrolerie-Torian, a resident of New York city, Montclair, N.J., and Edgartown, died on Tuesday, April 5 with her loving husband, G. Douglas Torian Jr. at her side. She was 62.

For many years, Michele practiced dentistry in Montclair. She and her husband Doug owned a home in Katama for the past 25 years.

She was predeceased by her father, Dr. Frank M. Lapeyrolerie, her mother, Delia D. Lapeyrolerie, and her brother, Dr. Jacques B. Lapeyrolerie.

Michele leaves to cherish her memory her husband, G. Douglas Torian Jr.; her brother, Dr. Daryl Lapeyrolerie and his wife Jacqueline; her sister Dr. Donna Lapeyrolerie-Johnson and her husband, Dr. Brian Johnson; her sister Crystal Lapeyrolerie, her sister in law Lauren Lapeyrolerie; her uncle Raymond Riddle; her aunt, Dionne Lapeyrolerie; and her nieces and nephews: Erika Lapeyrolerie-Richardson and her husband Gabriel Richardson; Jacques R. Lapeyrolerie; B. Bradley Johnson; Danielle Johnson; Kamika Lewis; Kortney Lapeyrolerie; Erin Lapeyrolerie; and Lillie Lapeyrolerie. Michele will be deeply missed.

A service was held Tuesday, April 12 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Montclair.
