Allen Robert Janger of West Tisbury died on June 13. He was 83.

Allen was beloved by his family and friends for his wit and kindness. He is remembered by his wife, Inez Janger; his sons, Edward, Matthew, and Michael Janger; his daughters in law, Vicki Eastus, Elise Brady, and Meaghan Janger; his grandchildren, Emma, Max, Sophie, Lily, Ruby, and Finn Janger; his brother Richard Janger; and countless friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center in Vineyard Haven. The family will receive visitors for shiva at his residence following the interment.
