Jeanne B. (Park) Rudnick, former of Newton and Vineyard Haven, died on August 19. She was 87.

She attended Pine Manor College in her 60s, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994. She was an active resident at Lasell Village for 15 years and helped to develop a curriculum there. She was also a student of Rabbi Arthur Green.

Jeanne was an active fundraiser for many causes, including Boston Aid to the Blind, Israeli Bonds, League School of Boston, and Hebrew College. She was a kind person and a friend to many.

She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Burton D. Rudnick, and the loving mother of Leslee A. Rudnick and her husband Gil Lepler, Debra S. Arippol, Andrew B. Rudnick and Ruth I. Rudnick. She was the cherished grandmother of Maurice Arippol and dear sister of the late Bernice Roth and her surviving husband Robert of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Services were held at Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline on Monday, August 22, with interment at Adath Jershurun Cemetery in West Roxbury. Following the interment, a memorial observance was held at the home of James and Leslie Withall through 8 p.m., continuing Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
