Jack always loved the Vineyard. We 1st visited together in 1983 when he was part of the pyrotechnics crew for "The Bostonians" movie starring Christopher Reeve. I slept in Jack's VW truck with his black lab Will & my wolf Tasha as they weren't allowed in the crew hotel. During filming an overexcited stallion caused Chris Reeve to turn to the camera & exclaim, "I sure don't feel like Superman now !" The director yelled cut. Chris ran over to us, bent down, & wrapped his arms around Tasha's neck saying, "She's the most beautiful dog I've ever seen." "She's a wolf" Jack replied. Chris Reeves hugged her even tighter, eventually stood up covered in hair, stood grinning ear to ear, & shook our hands saying, "Thank you, thank you so much ! Wow ! That was unbelievable !" Thank you , Jack for sharing your life with so many who love you dearly & for always bringing a smile to the faces around you.

I met Jack around the same time as Wes Whitham. Such a great guy! Always a smile and kind word. I lost touch with him over the years but never forgot him. Such a person will be missed by all who knew him.
