James S. Marshall

James S. Marshall died on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at his home in Belfast, Maine after a cardiac illness. He was 73.

He was the dear friend of Helen Chelf and the former husband of Elizabeth (Betsy) Marshall. He was the father of Stephanie Marshall and grandfather of Arrianna Marshall-Burns.

His funeral service will be held in Maine the first weekend in October. An Island service will be held in the springtime. A complete obituary will follow in a future edition of the Gazette.

My prayers go out to Jim’s family. Such a nice guy I had the pleasure of working with for years. I visited him in Belfast in 2014 and he cooked up a great dinner!! He was a great cook. Rest In Peace Jim.

Condolences to Betsy and Stephanie and Helen. Jimmy was a good friend to many people. We had a lot of laughs when I was a nurse in the ER. His smile and awesomely unique sense of humor will be greatly missed.Make them laugh in heaven Jimmy!
