Dorothy Ellen Krikorian died on March 11 in Conroe, Tex. She was 68 (although she would prefer to say that she was 48).

She was born on Dec. 11, 1949 in Oak Bluffs to Hudson and Dorothy Stuhler Worden.

She was known to be full of laughter, with a penchant for chatting and a voracious appetite for reading. Her heartfelt willingness to help anyone in need, regardless of the sacrifice required, will never be forgotten. Her family will always hold her close and look forward to the day they get to hear her laugh again. She will be missed beyond words.

She was never one to say goodbye, but instead, “I’ll see you again soon.” Without a doubt, she will be the first to greet her family with open arms when they see her again.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Krikorian, Edward Krikorian 4th and his wife Jennifer, Gloria Adams and her husband Shane; grandchildren Justin Ringo, Bailey Ringo, and Demi Krikorian; a brother, Jim Worden and his wife Margo; and sisters, Cheryl Pinkham, Brenda Lynch and her husband Bob, and Paula Stone and her husband Kenny.

A private memorial will be held on Martha’s Vineyard at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a book donation made in her name to a favorite school library.
