Marianise Senat Delphin of Vineyard Haven, formerly of Haiti, died peacefully on May 31 at the Royal Nursing Home in Falmouth, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 93.

Madame Pierre was well known in her home town in Haiti as a loving individual whose door was always opens to those in need. She had a large extended family as a result of her kind heart and hand.

She came to the Vineyard in 1996 to live with family for needed care.

She is survived by her sister Anita Senat, son Francois Delphin and his wife Denise, grandchildren Verlande, Michaela, Micah and Joshua Delphin, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on State Road in West Tisbury on Saturday, June 23 at 11 a.m.
