Dorothy Adler died in her sleep on May 14 at her home in Concord. She was 93.

Born on June 24, 1925 in New Britain, Conn. to Dorothy Gordon and Frank Gordon, she was a resident of Concord for almost 70 years. She and her family often vacationed on Martha’s Vineyard, first in a rented house on Menemsha Pond, then in houses they owned in Menemsha and Chilmark.

She was predeceased by her husband, MIT professor Richard Adler. She is survived by her sons, Gordon Adler of Thun, Switzerland, Nicholas Adler of Marlborough, and Lucas Adler of Charlotte, Vt.

She will be sorely missed by all.
