Suzanne Allan-Calota of Braintree and Centerville died July 17, surrounded by her loving family. She was age 61.

The daughter of Kenneth A. and Mary Alice Allan of Abington, she graduated from Abington High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Salem State College. After working for Bradley’s, where she met her husband, and Filene’s, she went on to a 30-year dedicated career as a human resources manager at Amtrak.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Calota; sons, Bogdan and George Calota; brother, Kenny Allan; sister, Debra Allan-Magnuson, and numerous extended family members, including his nieces and nephews Rachel, Kenneth and Malik Magnuson.

Services will be held July 29 at 9 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 445 Plymouth street in Abington.
