Evelyn F. DeBettencourt died on Nov. 13 at home in Oak Bluffs. She was 99.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson W. DeBettencourt and was the mother of Nelson Roy DeBettencourt, Russell David and Rhonda DeBettencourt.

A funeral mass was held at St. Augustine’s Church in Vineyard Haven on Nov. 18, followed by interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Oak Bluffs.
