Jon (Randy) Lima died June 20 after a long battle with cancer. He was 55.

Jon was born March 22, 1966. He grew up in Edgartown and attended the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.

He was part of the Toronto Blue Jays ground crew in Dunedin. Fla. and former head “gopher hunter” at the Royal and Ancient Chappaquiddick Links.

Jon is survived by his sons Jeffery (and his wife Caitlyn), David and Isaac, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Judith Richard Paltrineri of Bristol, R,I, and his brother Anthony (Tony) Lima of Hyannis. He was predeceased by his father Charles (Tony) Lima, sister Susan Lima Schwoch and stepfather Peter Paltrineri.
