Scott Alan Wilson of Bridgeport, Conn. died at his home on Oct. 1. He was 60.

He was born on Sept. 7, 1962 in Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. to Alan and Sunny Gibson Wilson. He attended the Ho-Ho-Kus public school and graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Conn. and Johnson State College in Vermont.

He owned and managed several businesses over the course of his career, most recently Roof Top Roofing of Connecticut.

He was an excellent skier as well as a good golfer. He loved fishing and sailing on Martha’s Vineyard, where his parents lived on Chappaquiddick from 1993 to 2021.

Scott is survived by his ex-wife Danielle; his sons Brian, Tommy and Christopher; his sisters Kim and Amy Wilson; and both of his parents, now of Fitchburg.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Swan Funeral Home in Madison, Conn., with the Rev. Jeanne Lloyd officiating.
