A graveside service for Frances E. (Fran) Maciel will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Vineyard Haven on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. As she wished, a gathering at State Beach will follow the service.

Fran died on May 25 at Windemere Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Oak Bluffs. She was 89.
