Clifton H. Athearn of West Tisbury died at his home on Dec. 12. He was 100.

A graveside service will be held at the West Tisbury cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 23, with a reception to follow at the Agricultural Hall at noon. 

A complete obituary will be published in a future edition of the Gazette. An interview with Mr. Athearn was published in June 2023.
