A memorial service for Alan O. Wilson, a former resident of Edgartown, will be held on Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Townsend, with the Rev. Tracey Robinson-Harris officiating. A reception will follow at the 873 Cafe in Ashby.

Alan was an active volunteer with Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation, a Vineyard land preservation organization. Memorial contributions may be made to the foundation at sheriffsmeadow.org.
