John Francis Jr. of Arlington, formerly of Edgartown and Waltham, died peacefully with his family by his side on Jan. 22.

Judith Ballou Freeman died peacefully on Nov. 2. She was 86.

Joseph F. Figueiredo of Vineyard Haven died on Oct. 30 at the Cape Cod Hospital. He was 78.

Janet French died on Oct. 23 in Sebring, Florida. She was 77.

Thirza Jane Farrow died on Sept. 8 in Venice, Fla., vibrant and engaged in life to the end. She was 91.

James Magnus Finnerty, a longtime Island resident, died on August 27 in his adopted country of New Zealand.

A celebration of life for Judy Fraser-Pearse will take place Saturday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Vineyard Haven Yacht Club.

Jane W. Farrow, a former longtime Vineyard resident, died Sept. 8 in Venice, Fla. She was 91.

John W. Folino Jr. died peacefully on June 27 with his wife and daughter by his side.
