Charlotte Wesley Holloman, a gifted pianist, lyric soprano and beloved teacher and mentor to hundreds of devoted students, died July 30. She was 93.

Erolle J. Haas died Saturday, July 18. He was 97 and the husband of the late Constance (Devereaux) Haas.

Pieter M. Hahn died in August 2014 at age 60. There will be a celebration of his life on Tuesday, July 14 at Church of the Messiah in Woods Hole.

Edward Wilson Hewett died peacefully at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on May 16 after a long illness. He was 88.

Longtime Islander Dorothy R. Howell died of natural causes on June 8, 2015 in Encinitas, Calif. She was 98.

Peter James Hathaway of Edgartown died peacefully on May 23 surrounded by his family and friends after a short battle with cancer. He was 71.

Edward W. Hewett died at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on May 16, after a long illness. He was 88.

Anne Haney of Oak Bluffs and Newton died suddenly on Saturday, May 9 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston.

Mildred Svehlak Higgins, devoted wife and mother, died April 28, 2015, at home following a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 83.
