A memorial service for David Lindley Myers will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Sumner Wright Mead of Wilmette and formerly of Kenilworth, Ill., died on Sept. 6. He was 92 and a seasonal Vineyard resident.

Marion J. Meigs of Falmouth, Me. and Edgartown died on August 30 in Yarmouth, Me. She was 94.

Susan H. Macy died Thursday, Sept. 1 at her home in Vineyard Haven. She was 92.

Eileen Sullivan Mayhew died on May 21 after celebrating her 101st birthday with her family and friends at Long Hill in Edgartown.

Paul F. McCarthy died of natural causes on August 23 in Captiva, Fla. He was 63.

Col. Herbert David Maddox of Plattsburg, N.Y. died August 10. He was 97.

A celebration of the life of Lillian R. Meleney will be held on August 27 at 5 p.m. at 55 Hatch Road in Vineyard Haven.

Lillian Rhame Meleney of Westwood and Vineyard Haven died on June 24 after an extended illness. She was 94.
