Richard S. Knight Jr. died suddenly Wednesday at his longtime home on Chappaquiddick. He was 73.

Katherine G. Manning, of Oak Bluffs, and formerly of North Quincy, died on June 23. She was 96.

Richard Burton Cook died on June, 5, surrounded by family at his home in Mashpee. He was 95 years old.

Dr. Susan Whiting Shanok, of New York City and Chilmark, died early in the morning on Tuesday, May 26.

Danguole Gabis, a longtime resident of Martha’s Vineyard, died on June 17.
