Jane Martha Puetthoff died Nov. 30 at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital after a brief illness, with her three children by her side.

Geraldine (Gerry) Norton Pinto died peacefully on Dec. 5 at the Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Carol Besse Eno of Vineyard Haven died peacefully surrounded by family on Nov. 10 at home on the Vineyard.

Carla M. Furtaw of Vineyard Haven died peacefully Dec. 2 after a 32-year battle with cancer.

Bernard Saul Levy of Newton died Dec. 3.

Laurence A. Mercier, a former owner of the Chappaquiddick Ferry and a dedicated public servant in Edgartown, died at home on Sunday, Nov. 21.

Thomas (Alden) Norton, a Vineyard Haven native, died peacefully on Nov. 28 at the Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Louise Hoover Neuhoff, a Vineyard summer resident for more than 60 years, died on Nov. 18.
