As Memorial Day weekend began, students from the Chilmark School honored those who gave their lives serving our country with a visit to Coast Guard Station Menemsha and then walked to the harbor to toss flowers in the water in tribute. Poetry was read, music was played, and respect given to those who gave the greatest sacrifice.
