Hot cups of cider and warm chowder warmed cold hands this weekend as revelers gathered for the annual Christmas in Edgartown weekend. On Friday night crowds gathered on the porch of the Harbor View Hotel for the annual lighting on the Edgartown Light, which now casts a merry holiday glow over the harbor.
The annual Christmas in Edgartown parade kicked off at 11 a.m. Saturday, and Santa, the dancers from Rise, and a crew of horses practing as reindeer joined in as the group marched down Main street in a drizzling rain. After the parade it was time to wander downtown, transformed into a holiday village that would rival the North Pole.
