Bad weather on Martha's Vineyard forced the Tisbury Memorial Day parade and ceremony indoors, but that did not dampen the spirit of the annual event. Veterans, police and firefighters, and members of the Vineyard community gathered at the Tisbury school gym to honor the Island's veterans. Senior Chief Robert Riemer of U.S. Coast Guard Station Menemsha was the keynote speaker.
