The Gazette received a third place for overall design and presentation. The judges said: "There are lots and lots of moving parts in the Gazette, and the designer has done a deft job of herding them into place in such a way as to keep readers engaged."
Front page design received a second place award. The judges said: "The striking photo of a ferry streaming through the fog, running across six columns (out of seven!) demands the reader's attention."
The Gazette's living section won first place in design. The judges said: "The stories, the photos – every bit put me right in Edgartown."
Third place for overall design and presentation of a special section. The judges said: "Kudos to Maddie Frost for the graphic illustrations for the cover page."
Second place for arts and entertainment section. The judges said: "Great arts and entertainment section that includes deep coverage of diverse artists . . . Nice robust calendar section. Bravo!"
