Jessica and Joshua Burgoyne of Edgartown announce the birth of a son, Benjamin Beckett Burgoyne, born on Sept. 16, 2008 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Benjamin weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces at birth.
Janelle and Gilmar Coelho of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Eva Julianna Coelho, born on Nov. 20 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Eva weighed eight pounds at birth and joins big sister Elayna.
Annie Grace Combra was born at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston on Jan. 10. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. Annie Grace is the third child of Richard and Jennifer Combra and the baby sister of Sophie and Richard 3rd. The grandparents are Brenda and Robert Lynch of Rochester, Sue Curely of Oak Bluffs, Richard and Dawn Combra of Oak Bluffs and Jack and Roxie Curley of Marion.
Celi Ferreira Da Silva Alves and Jose Fabio Alves of Edgartown announce the birth of a daughter, Sophia DeLazare Da Silva Alves, born on April 22 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

Joshua and Suzanne Provost Flanders announce the birth of their daughter, Hannah Evealoe Flanders, on July 14 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Hannah weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces. She joins big brothers Joshua, David and Christian. Her grandparents are Glenn and Marcella Provost of Vineyard Haven and Patricia Flanders of Edgartown.
Nancy Bruguiere Morris and Edward Morris of Wayland announce the birth of a daughter, Avery Ann, who was born on Jan. 8. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces. She was 20 inches long. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Judy Bruguiere of Edgartown and George and Mary Morris of Stuart, Fla. Her proud big brother Charlie and sister Hilary look forward to visiting the Island with her this spring.
