Rebekah and Joshua Thomson of Chilmark announce the birth of a son, Moses Yutaka Thomsom, born on Sept. 26 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Moses weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces at birth. Moses is also welcomed by big sister Leah Hiroko and proud grandparents Susan and Jeff Parker of Chilmark.

John Miles Arrives

Abigail Southard and Curtis Chandler of Edgartown announce the birth of a baby boy, John Miles Chandler, on Nov.14 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. John Miles weighed eight pounds at birth.

Welcome Lucas

Nevette Previd and John Guadagno announce the birth of their son Lucas Victor Guadagno, born on Sept. 15 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Lucas Victor weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces at birth.

Announcing Amanda

Buffie Gaspar DeSouza and Wesley DeSouza of Tisbury announce the birth of a daughter, Amanda Roselene Jean DeSouza, born on Dec. 20, 2010, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Amanda weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces at birth and was 20 inches long. Amanda also is welcomed by big sister Juliana DeSouza and cousin Jaylin Johnson.

Welcome Andrew

Cleveland and Kevin Miller are delighted to announce the arrival of their second New Year’s baby.

Andrew Judson Miller came into the world at 2:29 a.m., on Sept. 9, 2010, the first day of the Jewish New Year.

He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 20 inches in length.

Andrew is welcomed by his older brother, Matthew, who is two years and nine months old, who also was a New Year’s baby, born on the first of January.
