The first Vineyard baby of 2019 entered the world in dramatic fashion early Wednesday morning, in the back of a Tri-Town ambulance.

Gerqueias Pereira and Gedeone Oliveira, of Vineyard Haven, announce the birth of a daughter, Olivia Rodrigues Braganca deOliveira, born on Dec. 20.

Meghan Hotte and Zackery Bonner, of West Tisbury, announce the birth of a son, Maverick Dean Bonner, born on Dec. 19.

Kiera and Nate Schaff, of West Tisbury, announce the birth of a son, Oliver James Schaff.

Jennifer French and Seth Abbott, of West Tisbury, announce the birth of a son, Axel Bronson Abbott.
