Hundreds of peaceful demonstrators flooded downtown Oak Bluffs Sunday in a march against systemic racism and police brutality. The march began at Waban Park, continued along the waterfront to Nancy’s and headed up Circuit avenue, filling the streets with signs, chants and calls for change.

A diverse group of more than 90 people marched from Vineyard Haven to Oak Bluffs Saturday in a peaceful protest to call attention to recent deaths of African American men.

Bundled up against the wind chill and holding handmade signs, more than 80 Vineyarders gathered at Five Corners on New Year’s Day for a march of solidarity. The event was organized by the Martha's Vineyard chapter of the NAACP.
