The select board Tuesday voted to proceed with a new building plan in an attempt to solve the nonprofit school's space crunch.

Town meeting-floor modifications to the warrant led to a compromise solution, with a seven-member committee to be appointed by town moderator Janet Wiedner.

The 27-article town meeting will take place Monday at 7 p.m. at the Chilmark Community Center, with a quorum of 25 voters.
