The future of the Jewish Cultural Festival remains in limbo after the West Tisbury select board this week declined to allow more people at the event.
The West Tisbury select board voted 2-1 last week to allow the annual event, but said the festival could have no more than 300 attendees – less than half of what the festival had hoped for.
The Jewish Culture Festival brought food, music and art to the Island in a celebration and exploration of Jewish culture.
