After opening a new location in Connecticut, the owner of Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta is planning a slow retreat from his Oak Bluffs restaurant in order to give a new owner the chance to learn the pasta business.
An Oak Bluffs restaurant that served President Obama last week has been thrust into a storm of criticism on social media following a dispute between the restaurant owners and several patrons.
They came for the food — celebrities and Islanders alike would line up on Kennebec avenue at Jimmy Seas every summer. But after a 20-year run the Oak Bluffs restaurant closed two years ago. It was sold at a foreclosure auction Tuesday morning.
